Mexican Mudsills: Slavery 2.0

Just a fair warning for Hispanics out there: beware of politicians bearing gifts.

We’ve heard the rationale for “comprehensive immigration reform” again and again: “They are doing the jobs Americans won’t do.”

And so, behold, the “Mudsill Theory” lives and breathes in Twenty-first Century America:

“Mudsill theory is a sociological term indicating the proposition that there must be, and always has been, a lower class for the upper classes to rest upon. The term derives from a mudsill, the lowest threshold that supports the foundation for a building.

“The theory was first used by South Carolina [DEMOCRAT] Senator/Governor James Henry Hammond, a wealthy southern plantation owner, in a Senate speech on 4 March 1858, to justify what he saw as the willingness of the lower classes and the duty of non-whites to perform menial work which enabled the higher classes to move civilization forward.”

Wikipedia goes on to explain that “it was directly used to advocate slavery in the rhetoric of others [sic] pre-Civil War Democrats.”

I think this bears repeating:

The Mudsill Theory — or “doing jobs Americans won’t do” — was directly used to advocate slavery in the rhetoric of other pre-Civil War DEMOCRATS.

Ancient history, you say? How’s the enslavement of African Americans as a voting block to the DEMOCRAT party working out in 2014? (see Allen West — http://allenbwest.com/2014/03/lbj-ill-niggers-voting-democratic-next-200-years/#D2IoyHcbqLQ4TCqw.99)

It has been nearly 150 years since the end of the Civil War.  It has been 50 years since the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.  We are well into the second term of the first African-American President, DEMOCRAT Barack Obama. In 2008, 95% of the Black vote went DEMOCRAT. In 2012, it was 93%.

And now, Democrats and Republicans alike are vying for the Hispanic vote, dangling out the carrot of Comprehensive Immigration Reform and a “Pathway to Citizenship.”

Tenga cuidado de mi amigo.
