Clear and Present Dangers . . . . Special Election Day Edition with JFK

“A nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people.”

~John F. Kennedy

Today, in the United States, we vote . . . Tomorrow the government seizes the airwaves completely for the first time ever with a scheduled Emergency Broadcast System “test.” Coincidence? Yeah, right — like nobody in the government had a calendar handy when they picked November 9, 2011, for this test.

Will something bad happen tomorrow? Likely not. But timing is everything.

Is this a naked display of the government’s power and ability to veto the Citizen vote if it so desires?

Is this a Progressive-Pavlovian conditioning of Citizens to numb them to that power so they might passively accept its use in the future?

Does anybody really think that “This is a test . . . .  This is only a test”?

Many are up in arms about the government completely and involuntarily shutting down the nation’s television and radio stations and rightly so, but to do so the very next day after an election is simply outrageous.

Weren’t we told to “connect the dots” after 9/11?

Well, these two dots are just a little too close together.
